If the eductor supply valve is left open during the carrier flow meter's auto calibration process, it can result in an incorrect calibration. This is due to the carrier solution being able to bypass the Mass Flowmeter, resulting in the incorrect calibration.
In one example, it resulted in a calibration number between 140 and 160 pulses/gallon.
Close the eductor supply valve and then run the auto cal process again. The resulting calibration number should typically be in the range of 80-100 pulses/gallon for a properly calibrated carrier flowmeter.
